Pastor Deborah
Torah are the instructions of God.
The Jews today still have a knowledge of God.
They still have the fear and reverence of the Lord.
We were made and created to worship and know Him.
Hebrew words that express the DIVINE act of REVELATION include YADA’ (׳דע) “indicate, announce”; nagad, (נגד), “publish, declare”; and DABAR (דבר), speech, word,” and in Greek, phaneroō (φανερόω), “I REVEAL, make KNOWN.”
PROVERBS 29:18 TPT
When there is NO CLEAR PROPHETIC VISION, people quickly wander astray.
But when you FOLLOW the REVELATION of the WORD, HEAVEN’S BLISS fills your soul.
When we don't have revelation, people will quickly wander astray.
When we follow and understand it as unveiled by Holy Spirit, Heaven's bliss fills our souls.
Come to the Lord and He will give us rest.
PROVERBS 29:18 MSG
If people CAN’T SEE WHAT GOD IS DOING, they stumble all over themselves;
But when they ATTEND to WHAT HE REVEALS, they are most BLESSED.
PROVERBS 29:18 NLT
When people DO NOT ACCEPT DIVINE guidance, they RUN WILD.
But whoever obeys the LAW (TORAH - INSTRUCTIONS) is JOYFUL.
Many babies are running around without clothes, not knowing they are clothed with the robe of righteousness.
God clothed Adam with animal skin, to signify that blood has to be shed.
Someone has to be punished in order to have the right standing with God again.
Do not have to run away from God with our shame, nakedness and sins.
Righteousness is the right standing before God.
Angels do not understand redemption and grace.
Angels never experienced salvation.
Real salvation is in our spirit, knowing we have been saved from sin and guilt of sin.
Jesus is the only one who was born without sin.
He is the only one who can be our sin substitute.
POWER IN WEAKNESS -
PAUL'S TRANSFORMED VISION FOR MINISTRY
1 CORINTHIANS 2:1-2 TPT
My brothers and sisters, when I first came to proclaim to you the secrets of God, I refused to come as an expert, trying to impress you with my eloquent speech and lofty wisdom.
For while I was with you I was determined to be CONSUMED with ONE TOPIC—JESUS, the CRUCIFIED MESSIAH.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:3 TPT
I stood before you feeling inadequate, filled with reverence for God, and trembling under the sense of the importance of my words.
Spirit gives lives but the ministry of condemnation brings death.
Our words can kill but can also bring and build lives.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:4 NKJV
And my SPEECH and my PREACHING were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in DEMONSTRATION of the SPIRIT and of POWER,
1 CORINTHIANS 2:5 NKJV
that YOUR FAITH should not be in the wisdom of men but in the POWER of GOD.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:5 TPT
For God intended that your faith not be established on man’s wisdom but by TRUSTING in HIS ALMIGHTY POWER.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:6-7 NKJV
However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,
1 CORINTHIANS 2:8 NKJV
which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:9 NKJV
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
1 CORINTHIANS 2:9 TPT
This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine — these are the many things GOD has in store for all his lovers.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:10 TPT
But God now unveils these profound REALITIES to us by the SPIRIT.
Yes, he has REVEALED to us his inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things.
We think what is real is what we see, what we hear and what we touch.
The real thing is who we are in Christ; this will last for eternity.
Holy Spirit will not go against the principal of the words.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:6-13 MSG
We, of course, have plenty of wisdom to pass on to you once you get your feet on firm spiritual ground,
but it’s not popular wisdom, the fashionable wisdom of high-priced experts that will be out-of-date in a year or so.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:6-13 MSG
God’s wisdom is something mysterious that goes deep into the interior of his purposes.
You don’t find it lying around on the surface.
It’s not the latest message, but more like the oldest—what God determined as the way to bring out his best in us, long before we ever arrived on the scene.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:6-13 MSG
The experts of our day haven’t a clue about what this ETERNAL PLAN is.
If they had, they wouldn’t have killed the Master of the GOD-DESIGNED LIFE on a cross.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:6-13 MSG
That’s why we have this Scripture text:
No one’s ever SEEN or HEARD anything like this,
Never so much as IMAGINED anything quite like it—
WHAT GOD has arranged for those who LOVE HIM.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:6-13 MSG
But YOU’VE seen and heard it because GOD by his SPIRIT has brought it all out into the open before you.
The Spirit, not content to flit around on the surface, dives into the DEPTHS of GOD, and BRINGS OUT what God planned all along.
We can never study the bible by just scraping the surface.
God wants to reveal to those who love and seek after Him.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:6-13 MSG
Who ever knows what you’re thinking and planning except you yourself?
The same with God—except that he not only knows what he’s thinking, but he lets us in on it.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:6-13 MSG
God offers a full report on the GIFTS of LIFE and SALVATION that HE is GIVING us.
We don’t have to rely on the world’s guesses and opinions.
We didn’t learn this by reading books or going to school (world system);
we LEARNED it FROM GOD, who taught us person-to-person THROUGH JESUS, and we’re passing it on to you in the same firsthand, personal way.
Salvation means "sozo", deliverance from sins.
We cannot learn about God from going to school.
We live like we do not have a Father who owns this universe.
1 CORINTHIANS 2:14 TPT
Someone living on an entirely human level rejects the REVELATIONS of GOD’S SPIRIT, for they make no sense to him.
He can’t understand the REVELATIONS of the SPIRIT because they are ONLY DISCOVERED by the ILLUMINATION of the SPIRIT.
Natural mind cannot grasp but let us go beyond the natural into God's Word.
2 CORINTHIANS 10:1-2 TPT
Now, please listen, for I need to address an issue.
I’m making this personal appeal to you by the gentleness and self-forgetfulness of Christ.
I am the one who is “humble and timid” when face-to-face with you but “bold and outspoken” when a safe distance away.
Now I plead with you that when I come, don’t force me to take a hard line with you (which I’m willing to do) by daring to confront those who mistakenly believe that we are living by the standards of the world, not by the Spirit’s wisdom and power.
2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-4 TPT
For although we live in the NATURAL REALM, we don’t wage a military campaign employing HUMAN WEAPONS, using manipulation to achieve our aims.
Instead, our SPIRITUAL WEAPONS are ENERGIZED with DIVINE POWER to effectively dismantle the defences behind which people hide.
2 CORINTHIANS 10:5 TPT
We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God.
We capture, like prisoners of war, every THOUGHT and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One.
2 CORINTHIANS 10:6 TPT
Since we are armed with such dynamic weaponry, we stand ready to punish any trace of rebellion, as soon as you choose complete obedience.
2 CORINTHIANS 10:7-8 TPT
You seem to always be looking at people by their outward appearances.
If someone is confident that he belongs to Christ, he should remind himself of this: we belong to Christ no less than he does.
I am not ashamed, even if I’ve come across as one who has overstated the authority given to us by the Lord.
For it is the authority to help BUILD YOU UP, not tear you down.
2 CORINTHIANS 10:9-10 TPT
I don’t want to seem as though I’m trying to bully you with my letters. For I can imagine some of you saying, “His letters are authoritative and stern, but when he’s with us he’s not that impressive and he’s a poor speaker.”
We don't preach to make people cry.
We preach good news.
2 CORINTHIANS 10:11 TPT
Such a person should realize that when we arrive, there will be no difference in the actions we take and the words we write.
2 CORINTHIANS 10:12 TPT
Of course, we wouldn’t dare to put ourselves in the same class or compare ourselves with those who rate themselves so highly.
They compare themselves to one another and make up their own standards to measure themselves by, and then they judge themselves by their own standards.
What self-delusion!
2 CORINTHIANS 10:13 TPT
But we are those who choose to limit our boasting to only the measure of the work to which God has appointed us—a measure that, by the way, has reached as far as you.
2 CORINTHIANS 10:14-15 TPT
And since you are within our assigned limits, we didn’t overstep our boundaries of authority by being the first to announce to you the wonderful news of the Anointed One.
We’re not trying to take credit for the ministry done by others, going beyond the limits God set for us.
Instead, our hope soars as your faith continues to grow, causing a great expansion of our ministry among you.
2 CORINTHIANS 10:16 TPT
Then we can go and preach the good news in the regions beyond you without trespassing on the ministry sphere of other laborers and what they have already done.
2 CORINTHIANS 10:17-18 TPT
For: The one who boasts must boast in the Lord.
So let’s be clear.
To have the Lord’s approval and commendation is of greater value than bragging about oneself.
DANIEL 11:32 NKJV
Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who KNOW (ידע yâda) their GOD shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.
