JESUS & HOLY SPIRIT – The Time Capsule into our Glorious Destiny in 2025

Moses was the one who wrote about creation. He was not yet born. The Holy Spirit took him back in time to be able to see and write about creation.

We have prophets in the bible, God brought these prophets into the future.

Time Capsule

a container storing a selection of objects chosen as being typical of the present time, buried for discovery in the future:

Eg. "the opening of a time capsule dating from 1904“.

GENESIS 28:10-11 CEB

Jacob left Beer-sheba and set out for Haran.

He reached a certain place and spent the night there.

When the SUN had SET, he took one of the stones at that place and put it near his head. Then he lay down there.

GENESIS 28:12 NLT

As he slept, he dreamed of a stairway that reached from the EARTH up to HEAVEN.

And he SAW the angels of God going up and down the stairway.

GENESIS 28:13 NLT

At the top of the stairway stood the Lord, and he said, “I AM the LORD, the GOD of your grandfather Abraham, and the GOD of your father, Isaac.

The ground you are lying on belongs to you.

I AM GIVING it to YOU and YOUR DESCENDANTS.

GENESIS 28:14 NLT

Your descendants will be as numerous as the dust of the earth!

They will spread out in all directions—to the west and the east, to the north and the south.

And all the families of the earth will be blessed through you and your descendants.

GENESIS 28:15 NLT

What’s more, I am with you, and I will protect you wherever you go.

One day I will bring you back to this land.

I will not leave you until I have finished giving you everything I have promised you.”

Come back home to the Father.

What has God promised us so far?

Will it be a blank in your head?

Spiritual and physical, today we inherit in Christ

GENESIS 28:16 NLT

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it!”

GENESIS 28:17 NLT

But he was also afraid and said, “What an awesome place this is!

It is none other than the house of God, the very GATEWAY to HEAVEN!”

GENESIS 28:17 CEB

He was terrified and thought, This sacred place is awesome.

It’s none other than God’s house and the ENTRANCE to HEAVEN.

GENESIS 28:18 NLT

The next morning Jacob got up very early.

He took the stone he had rested his head against, and he set it upright as a memorial pillar.

Then he poured OLIVE OIL over it.

GENESIS 28:19 NLT

He named that place Bethel (which means “house of God”), although it was previously called Luz.

GENESIS 28:20-21 NLT

Then Jacob made this vow: “If God will indeed be with me and protect me on this journey,

and if he will provide me with food and clothing, and if I return safely to my father’s home, then the Lord will certainly be my God.

GENESIS 28:22 CEB

This stone that I’ve set up as a SACRED PILLAR will be GOD’S HOUSE, and of EVERYTHING YOU GIVE me I will GIVE a TENTH BACK to YOU.”

The stone that Jacob sets up as a pillar represents a tangible and lasting symbol of his encounter with God.

This act of setting up a pillar was a common ancient Near Eastern practice to mark a sacred place or an encounter with the divine.

By anointing the stone with oil, Jacob consecrates it as a symbol of God's presence in that place.

In doing so, Jacob ACKNOWLEDGES GOD'S role as the ULTIMATE PROVIDER and PROTECTOR,

• as well as his OWN COMMITMENT to GOD.

The declaration that the stone shall be GOD'S HOUSE signifies that Jacob recognizes the holiness and sacredness of that place.

It also reflects the biblical concept of God's dwelling place, which is not confined to a physical structure, but can be found wherever GOD is WORSHIPED and GLORIFIED.

This concept is also echoed in the New Testament, where believers are referred to as the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), and where God's presence and glory are not limited to a building (Acts 7:48-50).

The PROMISE to give a tenth of all that GOD gives

• demonstrates Jacob's GRATITUDE and COMMITMENT to GOD.

Tithing, or giving a tenth of one's income, is a way of ACKNOWLEDGING

• GOD'S OWNERSHIP of all things

• and of EXPRESSING GRATITUDE for His PROVISION.

In making this vow, Jacob also demonstrates his understanding of

• STEWARDSHIP – the principle of managing the resources GOD has entrusted to us.

It points to GOD'S FAITHFULNESS and PROVISION.

Jacob's vow to give a tenth of all that GOD gives him is a

• RECOGNITION of God's faithfulness and a commitment

• to HONOR HIM with the firstfruits of his labor.

Genesis 28:22 is a powerful expression of worship, gratitude,

and stewardship.

It captures the essence of Jacob's response to his encounter with God and provides a TIMELESS example for believers today.

It reminds us of the importance of

• ACKNOWLEDGING God's presence in our lives,

• HONORING Him with our resources,

• and TRUSTING in HIS FAITHFULNESS as our provider and protector.

What Jacob did was stored in a "time capsule" to be "opened" to us in BFA now at the end of 2024

• for us and our generation to enter into the fullness of GOD'S COVENANT BLESSINGS through our LORD JESUS CHRIST!

We already stepped into the promised land a little bit.

Time capsule open at the right time at the end of 2024 before we go into 2025, open our hearts to go even deeper with the Lord, amazing things will happen in 2025
