LIVING THE APHĒSIS LIFE PART 1 - WHAT IS APHESIS LIFE?

Pastor Stephanie

New creation life, what does it means and how to live it

There are two Greek words that are used in the

New Testament for forgiveness.

One is the word CHRIDZOMAI and the other is APHIEMI.

Jesus died on the cross, He forgives the sin of all humanity.

Fear of whether God is blessing me or not, this is also a fear

CHARIZOMAI  FORGIVENESS

The first type of forgiveness is charizomai forgiveness, by which GOD has GRACIOUSLY FORGIVEN us of ALL our sins—past, present,

and future — whether we confess and repent of these sins or not.

All people have this GRACIOUS FORGIVENESS (charizomai) from God, whether they are a Christian or not.

As far as God is concerned, your GUILT has been REMOVED from you.

Your sin is no longer an issue with God.

COLOSSIANS 2:13 KJV

And you, being DEAD in your SINS and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath HE QUICKENED together with him, having FORGIVEN (CHARIZOMAI) you ALL trespasses;

Strong's #5483: charizomai (pronounced khar-id'-zom-ahee)

to GRANT as a FAVOR, i.e. GRATUITOUSLY, in KINDNESS,

pardon or rescue:- deliver, (frankly) forgive, (freely) give, grant.

Thayer's Greek Lexicon:

CHARIZOMAI

- to do something pleasant or agreeable (to one), to do a favour to, gratify

- to show one's self gracious, kind, benevolent

- to grant forgiveness, to pardon

- to give graciously, give freely, bestow

- graciously to restore one to another

- to preserve for one a person in peril

APHĒSIS  FORGIVENESS

EPHESIANS 1:7 NKJV

In Him we have redemption through His blood,

the FORGIVENESS (aphesis) of sins,

according to the RICHES of HIS GRACE.

APHĒSIS FORGIVENESS has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not a person goes to heaven when they die.

Aphēsis forgiveness is about WHETHER or NOT WE LIVE in BONDAGE and ENSLAVEMENT to SIN HERE and NOW in THIS LIFE.

This sort of forgiveness is not about whether or not God “forgives” us.

HE DOES and HE HAS!

G859 forgiveness

Original: ἄφεσις

Transliteration: APHESIS

Phonetic: af'-es-is

Thayer Definition:

- RELEASE from BONDAGE or IMPRISONMENT

-forgiveness or PARDON, of SINS (LETTING them GO AS IF they had NEVER BEEN COMMITTED),

- REMISSION of the penalty

Strong's Definition: From G863; FREEDOM; pardon:- DELIVERANCE,

forgiveness, liberty, REMISSION.

DISMISSAL.

- a SENDING AWAY,

- a LETTING GO,

- a RELEASE, PARDON ,

- COMPLETE FORGIVENESS.

JOHN 19:33-34 TPT

But when they came to Jesus, they realized that he had already died,

so they decided not to break his legs.

But one of the soldiers took a spear and PIERCED Jesus’ SIDE,

and BLOOD and WATER gushed out.

(referring to the watery fluid surrounding the heart and lungs.)

Babies are born covered in fluid and blood.

Being a son of God, there are pleasures, there are benefits. This is your inheritance.

God gave birth to us at the cross! When His water and blood gashed out

REMISSION -

- the CANCELLATION of a debt, charge, or penalty.

synonyms: cancellation, setting aside, suspension, revocation, repeal, rescinding, abrogation

Spiritual death

The English word "remission" here indicates that the SINS FLOWED OUT with JESUS' BLOOD.

This word is translated from the Greek word APHESIS, which can also mean "RELEASE" or "LIBERTY," -

as in the release of blood previously contained by the body's arteries and veins.

This word aphesis stems from the word aphiemi, which means "yield up" or "expire."

The word aphiemi, in turn, stems from the words apo and hiemi, which together mean "LET GO" or "sent forth by separation," as in a violent separation of the blood from the body's pressurized circulatory system (which, in Jesus' case, resulted in His complete separation from His Father in death).

When God the Father laid the sins of the world upon the head of His beloved Son, they passed into and contaminated Him. They remained in Him until they were POURED OUT with HIS SHED BLOOD.

LEVITICUS 17:11 NLT

for the LIFE of the body is in its BLOOD.

I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you,

making you RIGHT with the LORD.

It is the BLOOD, given in exchange for a LIFE,

that makes purification possible.

When you are reminded of your sins, you don't enjoy the peace

Not trying to be right or have peaceful conscience.

If you have no blood inside you, you don't have life

HEBREWS 9:14 CEV

But CHRIST was SINLESS, and he offered himself as an eternal and

spiritual sacrifice to God.

This is why HIS BLOOD is much more POWERFUL and makes our CONSCIENCE CLEAR.

NOW we CAN SERVE the living God and no longer do things that lead to death.

Everyone born from Adam is born with what kind of conscience?

Guilty conscience

HEBREWS 9:14 CEV

But CHRIST was SINLESS, and he offered himself as an eternal and

spiritual sacrifice to God.

This is why HIS BLOOD is much more POWERFUL and makes our CONSCIENCE CLEAR.

NOW we CAN SERVE the living God and no longer do things that lead to death.

We come before Him no more as a slave but as a lover

HEBREWS 9:13-15 MSG

He also bypassed the sacrifices consisting of goat and calf blood,

instead using HIS OWN BLOOD as the PRICE to set us FREE once and for all.

If that animal blood and the other rituals of purification were effective in cleaning up certain matters of our religion and behavior, -

think how much more the BLOOD of CHRIST CLEANS up our WHOLE LIVES, inside and out.

Through the Spirit, Christ offered himself as an unblemished sacrifice, FREEING us from all those dead-end efforts to make ourselves respectable, SO THAT we can LIVE ALL OUT for GOD.

Love is more powerful than guilt

HEBREWS 9:22 NKJV

And according to the law almost ALL things are PURIFIED with BLOOD,

and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

HEBREWS 9:22 TPT

Actually, nearly everything under the law was purified with blood,

since FORGIVENESS ONLY COMES through an OUTPOURING of BLOOD.

I don't have to try so hard, Jesus, it is Your blood that cleanses me. It is Your blood that gives me life
