Pastor Stephanie
Renew our minds to know how good God is.
Blessing of Daddy God. Look around us and see God in our lives.
LUKE 5:1 TPT
On one occasion, Jesus was preaching to the crowds on the shore of Lake Galilee.
There was a vast multitude of people PUSHING to get CLOSE to JESUS to HEAR the WORD of GOD.
The Word of God, Jesus has been revealed to us.
People pay thousands of dollars to go for conferences that can change their lives. Today we have our Lord Jesus who can change our lives.
LUKE 5:2 TPT
He noticed two fishing boats at the water’s edge, with the fishermen nearby, rinsing their nets.
LUKE 5:3 TPT
Jesus climbed into the boat belonging to Simon Peter and asked him, “LET ME USE YOUR BOAT. Push it off a short distance away from the shore so I CAN SPEAK to the crowds.”
Jesus used the boat of the disciple so that He can speak to the crowd. The crowd wanted to hear Him speaks.
In the midst of pandemic, our Lord favours us and provides for us.
We can easily reason out the blessing of God.
Let’s continue to see everyday the wonderful miracle, acknowledge Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.
Whatever we have, the talent the gifting the voice, we use for the Lord.
Worship is a different plane. It is into heaven realm, where the anointing drops down.
The glory cloud came in
When the presence of the Lord comes, we fall under the power of God.
Where Jesus is, miracle happens. Healing takes place. Miracle takes place.
When holy spirit fills our bones we become alive!
Jesus sat down and taught the people from the boat.
He wants to use me to preach the gospel.
Use the disciple’s boat and there He spoke.
Wherever you are, that is where He wants to speak.
LUKE 5:4 TPT
When he had finished, he said to Peter, “Now row OUT to DEEP water to cast your nets and you will have a GREAT CATCH.”
G5465 LET DOWN
Original: χαλάω
Transliteration: CHALAŌ
Phonetic: khal-ah'-o
Thayer Definition:
to LOOSEN, RELAX
to let down from a higher place to a lower
Strong's Definition: From the base of G5490; to lower (as into a void):- let down, strike.
Deep things of the Lord
Deep water
We want to make sure we are in control and we make our Lord our assistant.
LUKE 5:5 TPT
“Master,” Peter replied, “we’ve just come back from fishing ALL NIGHT and didn’t catch a thing.
But if you insist, WE'LL GO OUT AGAIN and let down our nets because of YOUR WORD.”
Holy Spirit knows all things. Whatever your profession is, Holy Spirit knows how to do it.
The Lord restored Peter.
We will go out again - BECAUSE OF YOUR WORD.
Hear His Word.
Rhema is quicken word
Logos is written word
Whatever we are led by is in line with God’s Word
Our whole eternity will be spending to know more and more.
By His stripe we were healed. Past tense.
LUKE 5:6 TPT
When they pulled up their nets, they were shocked to see a HUGE CATCH of fish, so much that their NETS were ready to burst!
They acted and believe the Word of Jesus
God’s Word never return to Him void but will accomplish His purpose.
God is not mocked. Whatever a man sow, that he will reap.
LUKE 5:7 TPT
They waved to their business partners in the other boat for help.
More than enough to bless the other boat.
They ended up COMPLETELY FILLING both boats with fish until their boats began to sink!
LUKE 5:8 TPT
When Simon Peter saw this ASTONISHING MIRACLE, he knelt at JESUS’ FEET and begged him, “Go away from me, Master, for I am a sinful man!”
He recognised it was God
He knelt at Jesus’ feet and said He was sinful man.
The miracle brought out the revelation of his state. He realised Jesus is God and is righteous. It brought him to see himself as sinner.
If you have experience the goodness of God, it will bring you to kneel down at your feet to say Lord it is Your grace, it has nothing to do with me. The life of joy and no fear.
Revealing who we are without Christ.
No one will be able to stand before God and boast of ourselves.
Your ID is nos 5, that is it.
No one can stand before God and said we can do this and that. It is all about His grace.
1 CORINTHIANS 15:10 TPT
But GOD’S AMAZING GRACE has made me who I am!
And HIS GRACE to me was not fruitless.
In fact, I worked harder than all the rest, yet not in my own strength but God’s, for his empowering grace is poured out upon me.
Not in my own strength but God. By the grace of God i am what i am. Yet not i, but Christ in me.
Grace is I don’t deserve it. When God shows His goodness to you, you realised you don’t deserve it, you work harder than anyone else. Work out of the salvation not for salvation.
God wants to reveal His grace, His amazing grace.
Doing more or serving the Lord, is not so much of the reward. In God’s wisdom, whoever is forgiven much loves much.
Is the consciousness that Jesus is so good that cause us to acknowledge Him
LUKE 5:9-10 TPT
Simon Peter and the other fishermen—including his fishing partners, Jacob and John, the sons of Zebedee—were awestruck over the MIRACLE CATCH of fish.
Jesus answered, “Do not yield to your fear, Simon Peter.
From now on you will CATCH MEN for SALVATION !”
We were sinners saved by grace.
LUKE 5:11 TPT
After pulling their boats to the shore, they left everything BEHIND and FOLLOWED JESUS.
What is eternal will last. What is temporarily is physical
ROMANS 2:4 NKJV
