We all love the different translation of the Bible. To live the Word of God in your life is the best translation.
It is not about how much we know the Word of God in our head but in our hearts.
Mary sat down at Jesus’ feet but Martha moved around
To dwell. Sit down. To rest.
Secret

Most - the highest one. The one.
An elevation : supreme
No one higher and greater than God
Abide
To lodge, stop over, pass the night
To stop over night: by implication to stay permanently

We can pass through this darkness by being in the secret hiding place of the most high
Shadow

You who sit down in the High God's presence, spend the night in Shaddai's shadow,
Sit down is a place of rest
There are 2 realms
Spiritual and natural realms
Holy Spirit lives inside us
We are above sickness above lack
No matter how dark it is outside, we can still sit down, sleep
Spend the night and go through every night in Shaddai’s shadow
Shadow a place of protection
1 Kings 19:3-7 MSG
When Elijah saw how things were, he ran for dear life to Beersheba, far in the south of Judah. He left his young servant there and then went on into the desert another day's journey. He came to a lone broom bush and collapsed in its shade, wanting in the worst way to be done with it all—to just die: "Enough of this, GOD! Take my life—I'm ready to join my ancestors in the grave!" Exhausted, he fell asleep under the lone broom bush.
Suddenly an angel shook him awake and said, "Get up and eat!"
He looked around and, to his surprise, right by his head were a loaf of bread baked on some coals and a jug of water. He ate the meal and went back to sleep.
The angel of GOD came back, shook him awake again, and said, "Get up and eat some more—you've got a long journey ahead of you."
Even when we forget His Word and we have no faith, we still can go into this shelter. He wants to take care of us. It is all about our good God. The merciful God!
Our lives is just sit down in His presence without fear.
God knows there are times we will feel tired
When we are over tired our mind don’t work. We talk nonsense when we are tired.
God blesses the ungodly. He blesses us.
God let him sleep. An angel appeared to him and woke him up to eat. He ate the meal and went back to sleep.
God knew he was very tired and needed to sleep
1 Kings 19:8 MSG
He got up, ate and drank his fill, and set out. Nourished by that meal, he walked forty days and nights, all the way to the mountain of God, to Horeb.
Spiritual food is able to last long in life
The more spiritual food i eat, the more physical strength we have
Eat physical and spiritual food. He wants to give us.
Isaiah 4:5-6 NIV
Then the LORD will create over all of Mount Zion and over those who assemble there a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night; over everything the glory will be a canopy. It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain.
Everything is good news
Our confidence is in Someone. The identity of the Person is what will deliver us from worry and stress.
He is the One we will sit in shelter of
1 Samuel 5:1-2 NLT
After the Philistines captured the Ark of God, they took it from the battleground at Ebenezer to the town of Ashdod. 2 They carried the Ark of God into the temple of Dagon and placed it beside an idol of Dagon.
1 Samuel 5:3-4 NLT
But when the citizens of Ashdod went to see it the next morning, Dagon had fallen with his face to the ground in front of the Ark of the Lord! So they took Dagon and put him in his place again. 4 But the next morning the same thing happened—Dagon had fallen face down before the Ark of the Lord again. This time his head and hands had broken off and were lying in the doorway. Only the trunk of his body was left intact.
Luke 8:27-28 NIV
When Jesus stepped ashore, he was met by a demon-possessed man from the town. For a long time this man had not worn clothes or lived in a house, but had lived in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet, shouting at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torture me!”
Jesus came to reveal the kingdom realm
The demon knew very well this realm.
The demon recognise Jesus immediately
Demon recognised Jesus, Son of the Most High God.
Most high
Highest regions of rank; the most high God
Highest, that is, the supreme (God) of the heavens - highest
Luke 8:29-30 NIV
For Jesus had commanded the impure spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, he had broken his chains and had been driven by the demon into solitary places.
Jesus asked him, “What is your name?”
“Legion,” he replied, because many demons had gone into him.
Many demons went into him. Demons were scare of Jesus.
Luke 8:31-33
And they begged Jesus repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss.
A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into the pigs, and he gave them permission. When the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.
Know we are the sons of the Most High God. As Jesus is, so are we in this world.
Even before Jesus did anything, the demons begged Jesus to let them go into the pigs
The demons cannot possess christians but they can oppress christians who don’t know who they are in Christ.
Oppress is control your minds by his lies.
Sickness is temporarily
Lack is temporarily
Love Joy Peace is eternal especially the Word of God
Luke 8:34-35 NIV
When those tending the pigs saw what had happened, they ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened. When they came to Jesus, they found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus’ feet, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
When God heals, He heals us completely, permanently, spirit soul body!
Genesis 14:17 NLT
After Abram returned from his victory over Kedorlaomer and all his allies, the king of Sodom went out to meet him in the valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley).
Fear came in when he could not see the most high God
Prophets see and hear God and bring to the people in Old Testament
Today we can hear and see God as new creation.
Know we are sitting under the shelter. The One the supreme One
Protection of God over our lives
Jesus went about healing all who were oppressed of the devil.
Jesus manifested to destroy the work of the devil.
Sickness and diseases have to go.
Provision
Genesis 14:18-20
Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;
And blessed be God Most High,
Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tithe of all.

Most High - the Possessor of heaven and earth
God not only Possessor of heaven and earth. The whole universe
Blessed be God most high who has delivered our enemies into his hand
When Abram was blessed by the Most High, he gave him a tithe of all.
He was rich yet He became poor so that we can become rich beyond measure.

Genesis 14:21-22 NLT
The king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give back my people who were captured. But you may keep for yourself all the goods you have recovered.”
Abram replied to the king of Sodom, “I solemnly swear to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth
Abraham when he tithed, he was doing it as a victory. Not giving some charities to God. You are honouring the most high.
We are children of Abraham by faith.
We no longer tithe in fear.
We tithe knowing He is the Most High and we are not giving charities to God
We tithe as a witness that Jesus is alive
Communion is about the death of Christ.
We honour Jesus and we acknowledge Him as the God most high
By our tithing and offering we are acknowledging God is our God
Genesis 14:23-24 NLT
that I will not take so much as a single thread or sandal thong from what belongs to you. Otherwise you might say, ‘I am the one who made Abram rich.’ 24 I will accept only what my young warriors have already eaten, and I request that you give a fair share of the goods to my allies—Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre.”
Through our tithing we are telling the devil is not him who makes us rich.
We tithe to say He is God who makes us rich.
There is no fear in tithing and offering.
Sitting and resting in the Lord
Psalms 57:2 NLT
I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me.
Our God is the most High God. We turn to Him
In ALL our ways, not only one. Acknowledge Him. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes.
Acknowledge the Holy Spirit
We are not meant to die young. He has a special plan for everyone of us. We have a destiny He has for us.
When we acknowledge Him, sit down. He is like the GPS. Renew our mind. We get to our destination faster.
God is good and He has the power to heal you.
Pastor Stephanie because of vaccine, she had fever when she was preparing for this sermon. She rebuked the fever in the name of the God Most High. Within 5 mins, the fever was gone!
God is the One who will fulfil the purpose in our lives.
In God all we need to do is to cry to Him. Acknowledge Him as the God most high. Rest in the night season.
Know that He will fulfil our purpose in our lives.
Psalms 27:13
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed. That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.
He will perform. Fulfil the purpose- God is the Author and Finisher of our faith in our lives.
