[Sermon Note] Faith Sees Only One Goal And Makes Decisions Towards That Goal

Pastor Stephanie

It is the Word who set us free. Rewarder of those who diligently seek Jesus.

My Word are spirit. You cannot just eat one time. U need to eat everyday. Day and night meditate on My Word. Hagar. Mutter.

Faith sees only one goal.

God’s Word always said things that are impossible to human mind

HEBREWS 11:22 NLT

It was BY FAITH that Joseph, when he was about to die, said CONFIDENTLY that the people of Israel would leave Egypt.

He even commanded them to take his bones with them when they left.

REFUSED TO BE AFRAID

HEBREWS 11:23 TPT

FAITH prompted the parents of Moses at his birth to hide him for three months, because they realized their child was exceptional and they REFUSED to be AFRAID of the king’s edict.

EXODUS 1:22 NLT

Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: “Throw every newborn Hebrew boy into the Nile River. But you may let the girls live.”

EXODUS 2:1-3 NLT

About THIS TIME, a man and woman from the tribe of Levi got married. The woman became pregnant and gave birth to a son.

She saw that he was a SPECIAL baby and KEPT him HIDDEN for three months.

But when she could no longer hide him, she got a basket made of papyrus reeds and waterproofed it with tar and pitch.

She put the baby in the basket and laid it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile River.

EXODUS 2:4-5 NLT

The baby’s sister then stood at a distance, watching to see what would happen to him.

Soon Pharaoh’s daughter came down to bathe in the river, and her attendants walked along the riverbank.

When the princess saw the basket among the reeds, she sent her maid to get it for her.

EXODUS 2:6-7 NLT

When the princess opened it, she saw the baby.

The little boy was crying, and she felt sorry for him.

“This must be one of the Hebrew children,” she said.

Then the baby’s sister approached the princess.

“Should I go and find one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?”

she asked.

Moses acted by faith

EXODUS 2:8-9 NLT

“Yes, do!” the princess replied. So the girl went and called the baby’s mother.

“Take this baby and nurse him for me,” the princess told the baby’s mother.

“I will pay you for your help.”

So the woman took her baby home and nursed him.

EXODUS 2:10-11 NLT

Later, when the boy was older, his mother brought him back to Pharaoh’s daughter, who adopted him as her own son.

The princess named him Moses, for she explained, “I lifted him out of the water.”

Many years later, when Moses had GROWN UP, he went out to visit his OWN PEOPLE, the HEBREWS, and he saw how hard they were forced to work.

During his visit, he saw an Egyptian beating one of his fellow Hebrews.

EXODUS 2:12-13 NLT

After looking in all directions to make sure no one was watching, Moses killed the Egyptian and hid the body in the sand.

The next day, when Moses went out to visit his people again, he saw two Hebrew men fighting.

“Why are you beating up your friend?” Moses said to the one who had started the fight.

EXODUS 2:14-15 NLT

The man replied, “Who appointed you to be our prince and judge?

Are you going to kill me as you killed that Egyptian yesterday?”

Then Moses was afraid, thinking, “Everyone knows what I did.”

And sure enough, Pharaoh heard what had happened, and he tried to kill Moses.

But Moses fled from Pharaoh and went to live in the land of Midian. When Moses arrived in Midian, he sat down beside a well.

Do God’s way.

HEBREWS 11:24-25 TPT

Faith enabled Moses to CHOOSE GOD’S WILL , -

for ALTHOUGH he was RAISED as the son of PHARAOHS daughter, -

he REFUSED to MAKE THAT his IDENTITY, -

CHOOSING instead to suffer mistreatment WITH the PEOPLE of GOD.

Moses PREFERRED FAITH’S CERTAINTY above the momentary enjoyment of sin’s pleasures.

Egypt represents the world way. The world believe system

HEBREWS 11:26 TPT

He found his TRUE WEALTH in suffering abuse for BEING ANOINTED, -

MORE than IN ANYTHING the WORLD COULD OFFER him, -

for his eyes looked with wonder NOT ON the IMMEDIATE, -

BUT on the ULTIMATE —

FAITH’S GREAT REWARD!

Who you are in Christ. This is your new identity

Certainty of faith is based on God’s Work

PHILIPPIANS 3:7-9 MSG

The very credentials these people are waving around as something special,

I’m tearing up and throwing out with the TRASH —

along with everything else I used to take credit for.

And why?

Because of Christ.

Yes, all the things I ONCE THOUGHT WERE SO IMPORTANT are GONE from my life.

Compared to the HIGH PRIVILEGE of KNOWING CHRIST JESUS as MY MASTER, firsthand, everything I ONCE THOUGHT I had going for me is insignificant—DOG DUNG.

I’ve DUMPED it all in the TRASH so that I could embrace Christ and be embraced by him.

I didn’t want some petty, inferior brand of righteousness that comes from keeping a list of rules when I could get the robust kind that comes from trusting Christ—God’s righteousness.

Stop believing in ourselves. Start believing Jesus

Master to the slave owns the slave. His desire for us is to bless us.

The world uses us to attain our goals

PHILIPPIANS 3:12-14 MSG

I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made.

But I am well ON MY WAY, -

reaching out for CHRIST, -

WHO has so WONDROUSLY REACHED OUT for me.

Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, -

but I’ve got my EYE on THE GOAL, where GOD is BECKONING us ONWARD—TO JESUS.

I’m OFF and RUNNING, and I’m NOT TURNING BACK.

He reached out to us when we don’t know Him.

When you run forward your goal is clear.

PHILIPPIANS 3:15-16 MSG

So let’s KEEP FOCUSED on THAT GOAL, those of us who WANT EVERYTHING GOD HAS FOR us.

If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision—you’ll see it yet!

Now that we’re on the RIGHT TRACK, let’s STAY ON IT.
