The Letter Mem מ))

Open and Closed Mem

\Mem has two forms:

an open form and a closed form.

The open form (pesucha) is said to represent the revealed truth of God (as demonstrated by Moses), whereas the closed form (stumah) is said to represent the concealed truth of God (as demonstrated by the Mashiach, the revealer of mysteries).

"Then the disciples came and said to him, "Why do you speak to them in parables?"

And he answered them, "To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given."

(Matt 13:10-11).

– the regular letter מ   and the special final letter  ם.

The regular letter indicates the revealed – everything that we see in creation and understand in the simplest way.

This letter מ   is closed on all sides, except for a small opening on the bottom.

It also has, on the left side, a little piece pointing upward towards the heavens.

This piece, together with the open part at the bottom, indicate the combination of heaven and earth which allows us to understand the physical aspects of the creation.

The final letter form ם   is completely closed on four sides, and it symbolizes the parts of creation that we cannot understand.

The numerical value of the letter מ   is 40.

This number represents ripeness and maturity.

This is because according to Jewish tradition, 40 days after conception, a fetus begins to take on human form.

The ideal full life for a person is 120 years (based on the life of Moses), which splits into three segments of 40 years.

Each segment is a stage of different stage development in a person’s life.

The bible in the Torah said that one generation complete is 40 years

40 is the number of completion as well.

In traditional Hebrew gematria, Mem has the value of 40, and is thereby associated with the following:

40 days and nights of flood waters

40 years in the wilderness

40 days Moses was upon Mount Sinai

40 days of Selichot (teshuvah before Rosh Hashanah)

40 days of fasting by our LORD Yeshua the Mashiach

40 days from conception to the initial "formation" of the fetus

40 weeks of gestation until birth

40 years of age before a man develops insight

The letter Mem is composed of two parts: a Vav and a Kaf.

The gematria of these parts is 26, the same value for the sacred Name YHVH.

Mem represents divine Omnipresence

A Hebrew Name of God is makom, meaning "place."

Note that this Name includes both an open and a closed Mem:

The sages have taught that God's Presence is both open and revelatory, yet is also shrouded in deep mystery, closed off to the apprehension of human reason.

Another word that starts and ends with the letter מ   is the word MAYIM מַיִם.

Mayim has both forms within it

Rivers and streams.

Closed lakes ponds and oceans

ISAIAH 12:3 KJV

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

Tiny yod - droplets of water basic unit of water whether closed or open.

God said, “I command a dome to separate the water above it from the water below it.”

And that's what happened.

God made the dome

and named it “Sky.”

GENESIS 1:6-8 CEV

G-d separated the waters above the firmament and below it.

The first mem represents the waters above the firmament and the second mem the waters below the firmament.

Therefore this letter is connected to the element of water.

It is from the sky that water comes down. God separated water above and water below.

We have the sea and the sky that releases enough water at a certain time

Water above the sky and water below the sky

The letter מ   is connected to water, and the connection between the revealed and hidden worlds.

This letter represents warm feelings, motherhood, and lots of love.

Mem is the letter of "water" (mayim), symbolizing the "spring" of the Torah.

Just as the waters of an underground spring rise upward from an unknown source to reveal themselves, so does the spring of wisdom rise up from the mysterious Source that is God.

The letter represents warm feeling. What is inside the womb? Water!

70% and 80% of our bodies is water

The water surrounds the baby in the womb with warm

We cannot do without water for 3 days

The first thing to see whether a place can live, is to search whether there is source of water

Jesus said He is the Life

My Word are Spirit and Life

To the Jews, the Torah are like water

Water is connected to God’s Word

This flowing stream of the inner wisdom can be expressed through the gift of man's speech:

Words of wisdom are like a fresh, flowing brook — like deep waters that spring forth from within, bubbling up inside the one with understanding.

PROVERBS 18:4 TPT

Life abundance

Sea, mass of water

When we are hearing the word of God we receive life

Jeremiah 29:11 when we hear God plan for us is good, we are refreshed with His Words

When we hear promises of God we feel refreshed and encouraged.

Traditionally, Mem has several related meanings: "waters," "people," "nations," "languages," and "tongues."

The name of the letter probably signifies water itself, and its most ancient forms bore a resemblance to waves of water.

As such, Mem represents the sea of Torah, the ocean of Talmud, knowledge, wisdom, etc.

Everything we have come from God, but we don’t hold on to it.

Material things, names, we don’t hold on

Jesus was not entangled in this world at all.

He knows He has a mission on earth and He comes and do His mission and goes back up.

Let go of this world and think that this world is so important to us.

Inside us, when we let go of something, it has no more holds over us.

Words of wisdom. The unbelievers know a lot of things also.

Words have power. Even the world knows that. Words have life! The world believe that too.

They said touch wood, because they don’t have Christ.

Touch wood indirectly brings us to Christ. He was nailed at the wooden cross (tree)

Who hang on the wood for you? When they touch wood means the blessings won’t go off. When we have Christ, we are not afraid the blessings will go off.

Declare I am healthy, I am young, I am rich in Christ

Today in Christ, we can freely receive and freely give!

Open Mem and close Mem

Mem as water

Mem as kingship and dominion

PSALM 145:13 NKJV

Mem is also said to represent two aspects of God's rule:

malkhut (kingship) and memshalah (dominion), as indicated in Psalm 145:13:

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.

HEBREWS 7:1-2 TOJB2011

For this MALKI-TZEDEK MELECH SHALEM KOHEN L'EL ELYON, is the one having met Avraham Avinu ACHAREI SHUVO (after returning) from the slaughter of “the kings and having blessed him,” With whom also “AVRAHAM avinu apportioned MA'ASER MIKOL (a tithe of everything).”

As for his Name, it is rendered “King of Tzedek (Righteousness)” and then also “Melech of SHALOM.”

Melek-King

Those who are poor in English, read English and not read Chinese

HEBREWS 7:6-8 TOJB2011

But, this man, though not tracing his descent from them, has received ma'aser (tithe) from Avraham Avinu and has given a bracha to the one having the havtachot (promises).

Now it is beyond all argument that the greater gives a bracha to the lesser.

Notice, in one case, ma'aser are received by mortal men; in the other case, ma'aser are received by one of whom we have solemn eidus (testimony) that hu Chai (he lives!).

I am the Lord All-Powerful, and I challenge you to put me to the test.

Bring the entire ten percent into the storehouse, so there will be food in my house.

Then I will open the windows of heaven and FLOOD you with blessing after blessing.

MALACHI 3:10 CEV

Bring ye kol hama'aser (all the tithes) into the Beis HaOtzar (House of the Treasury), that there may be teref (food) in Mine Beis, and prove Me now herewith, saith Hashem Tzva'os, if I will not open you the windows of Shomayim, and POUR you out a brocha, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

MALACHI 3:10 TOJB2011

Mem, sea of water

Pouring out with blessings after blessings

Water is life

Water is blessings

Water of life

See what is inside tithe

First letter of tithe is mem

Water, abundance, outpouring

Tithe and inside this tithe is aser and it means rich

No more fear of lack, or losing job or no more money to eat

Paul’s main concern of church is that our eyes be opened

Mem - Water

Ayin - to see

Shin - Consume/Destroy

Resh- first/highest person (Man’s head)

He is the head of my life

Nobody greater than God

You either serve Me or serve money, which one, you choose

Jews are money lenders. They are the banks.

We are above only and not beneath

PSALM 119:97 TPT

MEM. O how I love and treasure your Word; throughout the day I fill my heart with its light!

PSALM 119:97-104 MSG

MEM. Oh, how I love all you’ve revealed; I reverently ponder it all the day long.

Your commands give me an edge on my enemies; they never become obsolete.

I’ve even become smarter than my teachers since I’ve pondered and absorbed your counsel.

MEM is the revelation of God like a sea

PSALM 119:97-104 MSG

I’ve become wiser than the wise old sages simply by doing what you tell me.

I watch my step, avoiding the ditches and ruts of evil so I can spend all my time keeping your Word.

I never make detours from the route you laid out; you gave me such good directions.

Our spiritual GPS is the Holy Spirit

From the word, God will give us clear direction when He gives us His word

We will not end up in the drain

Don’t go for detour anymore. No time

PSALM 119:97-104 MSG

Your Words are so choice, so tasty; I prefer them to the best home cooking.

With your instruction, I understand life; that’s why I hate false propaganda.

The taste is good

Mem sings about Kingship and Water (melech and mayim)

Think of KING Meshiah and his people

Think of abundance of love and security in Christ our Mesiah King

Think of the power of love and of water, nations, ocean

Think of the WATER of the WORD of GOD that cleanses, refreshes, revives, floods with gentle blessings and gives wisdom to live the abundant life in Christ.

Call out Yahweh, sickness disappear!

God’s love is very powerful

Water for nation and ocean

Water gives life

Water the word of God cleanses and revive

MEM, Kingship, Jesus, the water of the Word

We need the Word of God for our life
