Pastor Deborah
Personality refers to the enduring characteristics and behavior that comprise a person's unique adjustment to life, including major traits, interests, drives, values, self-concept, abilities, and emotional patterns.
Personality traits refer to our patterns of THOUGHT and BEHAVIOR.
Examples include being open-minded, hot-tempered, easygoing, confident, or nervous.
The spiritman has the desire to serve God
Jesus did not come to receive, but came to serve.
To serve the Lord, we serve His children.
We need to understand people as well and also need to know ourselves, our weaknesses and personality and let the new nature of God come forth, relate and reach out to the lost outside
We are not trying to be a better person, but let our personality blend with the new nature of God, the spiritman
Only your spirit got saved
Your 5 senses did not get saved
The type of person you are, shown by the way you BEHAVE, FEEL, and THINK :
Eg-
She has a very warm personality.
He is well qualified for the job, but he does lack personality
(= he is a boring person).
She has a really intriguing personality.
He had a nice smile and an appealing personality.
She's no oil painting but she's got a lovely personality.
He's not much to look at, but he has a wonderful personality.
a vibrant personality
PSALMS 139:13 EASY
You made every part of me.
You made me grow inside my mother before
I was born.
PSALMS 139:13 TPT
You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside,
and wove them all together in my mother’s womb.
PSALMS 139:13-16 MSG
Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
PSALMS 139:13-16 MSG
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;
all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.
Each one of us is different because He intends for us to reach different people.
People feel accepted
I am not in community with the ones you have relationship and influence with, same as you aren’t connected with mine.
We each have our unique qualities that enable us to serve God by ministering to the different needs of our own circle of influence.
Although God can and does use our personality for His work,
we must be willing to allow the Holy Spirit to transform us so that we are able to minister out of love and hospitality towards others.
You have a God-given personality.
God wants to use your personality, too.
All of it.
The things you think make you odd, quirky, or just not good enough, God wants to use it to reach someone who needs your unique brand of Jesus so they can see His goodness in their lives, too.
It is God who gives us our personality, to be transformed when we are in Christ
God wants to use our personality too
First church met daily
God’s word tells us He created us just the way we are—all our unique and quirky personality traits.
He formed our inward parts as we grew inside our mother’s womb, developing all the things that make us who we are.
Whether it be blonde hair or brown eyes or freckles, and even our temperament and sense of humor.
Everything about us was formed by a God who knew us before we were even born.
And not only did He know us, but He loved us before we took our first breath.
He created us with the very traits that we often try to hide, change, or get rid of, so He could use them to minister to others.
You must know that God loves you.
ROMANS 8:29 TPT
For HE KNEW ALL about us before we were born and he destined us from the beginning to share the LIKENESS of HIS SON.
This means the Son is the oldest among a vast FAMILY of BROTHERS and SISTERS who will become just LIKE HIM.
ROMANS 12:1-2 TPT
Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies?
To surrender yourselves to God to be HIS SACRED,
LIVING SACRIFICES.
And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart.
For THIS becomes your GENUINE EXPRESSION of WORSHIP.
It is about how many years we have renewed our minds.
Our spirit man and soul transform inwardly
When we think how God thinks, we will transform.
ROMANS 12:3-4 TPT
God has given me grace to speak a warning about pride.
I would ask each of you to be emptied of self-promotion and not create a false image of your importance.
Instead, honestly assess your worth by using your GOD-GIVEN FAITH as the standard of measurement, and then you will see your true value with an appropriate self-esteem.
In the human body there are many parts and organs, each with a unique function.
