PSALM 91:14 NLT
The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.
I will protect those who TRUST in my NAME.
JOHN 14:14 TPT
Ask me anything in MY NAME,
and I will do it for you!”
GOD'S NAME IS HEALING
God is greater, He is the Head
God sent the Word and He healed them
How God creates? It is through the mouth
In Exodus 15, the newly set free Israelites are on their way to the Promised Land, SINGING God’s praises and REJOICING at the miracle of the drowned Egyptian army – until they found themselves without water in the hot, dry desert of Shur, and their faith was put to the test.
EXODUS 15:21 NLT
And Miriam SANG this song: “Sing to the Lord,
for he has triumphed gloriously;
he has hurled both horse and rider into the sea.”
EXODUS 15:22-23 NLT
Then Moses led the people of Israel away from the Red Sea,
and they moved out into the desert of Shur.
They traveled in this DESERT for THREE DAYS without finding any water.
When they came to the oasis of Marah, the water was too BITTER to drink.
So they called the place Marah (which means “bitter”).
3 days no water very hard to survive already. When we are thirsty and struggle, what happened?
Marah means bitter
EXODUS 15:24 NLT
Then the people COMPLAINED and turned against Moses.
“What are we going to drink?” they demanded.
EXODUS 15:25 NLT
So Moses cried out to the Lord for help, and the Lord showed
him a piece of wood.
Moses threw it into the water, and this made the water
good to drink.
It was there at Marah that the Lord set before them the
following decree as a standard to test their faithfulness to him.
EXODUS 15:26 NLT
He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord
your God and do what is right in his sight,
obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees,
THEN I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent
on the Egyptians;
for I AM the LORD who HEALS YOU.”
The shepherd needs to incline his ears to the Great Shepherd
Speak on behalf of God, not on behalf of sheep

In the midst of their bitterness, exhaustion, and hopelessness,
God reveals Himself to them as not only Deliverer,
but also Jehovah Rapha – their Healer.
Egypt is the world, when we are in the world, we feel hopeless in many situation in our lives
God sent Jesus already
Moses is a type of Jesus
He came and deliver the people out of Egypt
This Hebrew word, RAPHA, is used sixty times in the Old Testament, and it means to “RESTORE, to HEAL, to CURE and to REPAIR.”
It is not to repair our own spirit. We are made new. We are perfectly righteous in our spirit
1 KINGS 18:30 NLT
Then Elijah called to the people, “Come over here!”
They all crowded around him as he REPAIRED the altar
of the Lord that had been torn down.
- he brought the altar BACK to its ORIGINAL STATE.
God calls Himself Jehovah Rapha, and He wants to restore, heal, cure and repair us too!
JESUS – God Manifest in Flesh
Jesus is the express image of our Father God.
When He came to earth, He showed us what our Father
is actually like.
ACTS OF APOSTLES 10:38 NLT
And you know that GOD ANOINTED JESUS of Nazareth with
the HOLY SPIRIT and with POWER.
THEN JESUS went around DOING GOOD and HEALING ALL who
were OPPRESSED by the DEVIL, for GOD WAS WITH HIM.
Grace is Jesus in your life, you receive His Goodness

He has sent Me to HEAL the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
This is what He came to this world for
To continue the mission of Jesus, preach the gospel
What Jesus do, we are to do. Preach the gospel, heal, and set free the lost
Jesus had a traveling healing ministry!
Wherever He went, He set people free and repaired their brokenness.
Our Father, Jehovah Rapha, sent His son Jesus to us to heal,
save and set us free!
He was going about, healing the sick
Start with us, we set free ourselves
MATTHEW 17:14-15 TPT
They came to where a large crowd had gathered to wait for Jesus.
A man came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, please show
your tender mercy toward my son.
He has a demon who afflicts him.
He has epilepsy, and he suffers horribly from seizures.
He often falls into the cooking fire or into the river.
Why is healing such a big part of ministry
MATTHEW 17:16-18 TPT
I brought him to your followers, but they weren’t able to heal him.”
Jesus replied, “Where is your faith?
Can’t you see how wayward and wrong this generation is?
How much longer do I stay with you and put up with your doubts?
Bring your son to me.”
Then Jesus rebuked the demon and it came out of him and the boy was instantly healed!
We have been doubting God
Today we can do what Jesus did
JEREMIAH 32:26-27 CEV
The Lord explained: Jeremiah, I AM the LORD GOD.
I rule the world, and I can do anything!
JEREMIAH 32:27 NKJV
“Behold, I AM the LORD, the God of all flesh.
IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR ME?
Behold I am the Lord
Behold means See
MATTHEW 8:1-2 TPT
After he came down from teaching on the hillside,
massive crowds began following him.
Suddenly, a leper walked up to Jesus and threw himself down before
him in worship and said, “Lord, you have the power to heal me . . . if you really want to.”
Believe God has the power to heal
MATTHEW 8:3 TPT
Jesus reached out his hand and touched the leper and said,
“OF COURSE I WANT TO HEAL YOU—BE HEALED!”
And instantly, all signs of leprosy disappeared!
Good News for you!
From the HEART of JEHOVAH RAPHA to the LIPS of JESUS,
He says...“I WANT TO.”
MARK 5:25-26 TPT
Now, in the crowd that day was a woman who had suffered
horribly from continual bleeding for twelve years.
She had endured a great deal under the care of various doctors,
yet in spite of spending all she had on their treatments,
she was getting worse instead of better.
MARK 5:27 TPT
When she heard about Jesus’ healing power,
she pushed through the crowd and came up from
behind him and touched his prayer shawl.
MARK 5:28 TPT
For she kept saying to herself,
“If I could touch even his clothes,
I know I will be healed.”
Some say that physical pain is nothing compared to emotional pain.
For the woman in Mark 5, that was certainly true, and we know her as the woman with the issue of blood.
She lived with her physical disease for twelve years, but her problem was much deeper than that.
The Bible says she “suffered” because of it, meaning, emotionally.
She was by law, an outcast from society, stigmatized, separated from husband and children, abused by doctors and abandoned in her time of need.
Hers was a prolonged physical suffering that produced mental anguish.
But she made it to Jesus, our Healer.
Thereafter Jesus pronounced her healed, and immediately (and publicly) restored her to society!
She placed her faith in the One who repairs AND restores, the One Who could do what no one else could do for her.
Our God heals not just physically, but our emotions and relationships, too!
He not only save us, He restore us
MARK 2:2-3 TPT
Soon there were so many people crowded inside the house
to hear him that there was no more room, even outside the door.
While Jesus was preaching the word of God, four men arrived,
carrying a PARALYSED man.
MARK 2:4 TPT
But when they realized that they couldn’t even get near him
because of the crowd, they went up on top of the house and
tore away the roof above Jesus’ head.
And when they had broken through, they lowered the paralyzed man
on a stretcher right down in front of him!
MARK 2:5-6 TPT
When Jesus saw the extent of their faith, he said to the
paralyzed man, “My son, your sins are now forgiven.”
This offended some of the religious scholars who were present,
and they reasoned among themselves,
Sometimes faith is your desperation to turn to God
MARK 2:7-9 TPT
“Who does he think he is to speak this way?
This is blasphemy for sure!
Only God himself can forgive sins!”
Jesus supernaturally perceived their thoughts and said to them,
“Why are you being so skeptical?
Which is easier, to say to this paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are now forgiven,’ or, ‘Stand up and walk!’?
Faith is i believe You want to heal
MARK 2:10-12 TPT
But to convince you that the Son of Man has been given authority
to forgive sins, I say to this man, ‘Stand up, pick up your stretcher,
and walk home.’ ”
Immediately the man was healed and sprang to his feet in front
of everyone and left for home.
When the crowd witnessed this miracle, they were awestruck.
They shouted praises to God and said, “We’ve never seen anything
like this before!”
Only when our sins are forgiven, only then we can be born again
Jesus attends to his physical needs of healing
Jesus is God Himself who can forgive sin
While physical and emotional healing is a wonderful blessing, the fact is, Jehovah Rapha is really most concerned about our spiritual health.
Jesus responded to the faith of the man's friends.
But He first gave the man what was needed most – spiritual healing – by instantly removing public condemnation and private shame.
Every person who receives physical healing in this life still eventually dies;
it is only a temporary blessing.
But everyone whose sins are forgiven by God, though they also will physically die, go on living forever in His presence.
Thank God, whatever it is that has gone wrong in your life, no matter how impossible it may seem, He can handle it.
He is the Great Jehovah Rapha, the Great Physician, the Lord that heals,
saves and restores!
MATTHEW 8:8-9 TPT
But the Roman officer interjected, “Lord, who am I to have you come
into my house?
I understand your authority, for I too am a man who walks under authority
and have authority over soldiers who serve under me.
I can tell one to go and he’ll go, and another to come and he’ll come.
I command my servants and they’ll do whatever I ask.
So I know that all you need to do is to stand here and COMMAND HEALING over my son and he WILL BE INSTANTLY HEALED .”
MATTHEW 8:8-9 TPT

You are just to command healing.
it is our authority to command
This officer understood authority
MATTHEW 8:10 TPT
Jesus was astonished when he heard this and said to those
who were following him, “He has greater faith than anyone
I’ve encountered in Israel!
Healing is not when we see the manifestation
We keep speaking it
PSALM 107:20 TPT
God SPOKE the WORDS “BE HEALED,”
and WE WERE HEALED, delivered from death’s door!
John G. Lake, The Collected Works of John G. Lake -
GOD ALWAYS WAS THE HEALER.
He is the healer still, and will ever remain the Healer.
Healing is for YOU.
Jesus healed, "all that came to Him." He never turned any one away.
He never said, "It is not God's will to heal you," or that it was better for the individual to remain sick, or that they were being perfected in character through the sickness.
He healed them ALL.
Thereby demonstrating FOREVER God's unchangeable will concerning sickness.
The Christian, the child of God, the Christ man who has committed his body as well as his spirit and soul to God, ought not to not be a subject for healing.
He ought to be a subject of continuous, abiding health, because he is filled with the life of God.
John G. Lake, The Collected Works of John G. Lake
Opportunity for us to worship God
Give what you have
JESUS did not heal the sick in order to coax them to be Christians.
HE HEALED because IT WAS HIS NATURE to HEAL.
John G. Lake
Declare, meditate until such time it manifests.
You encounter God, you encounter the One who heals
We need to come back to God's Word
Meditate until the Word becomes life to you
Keep on believing until the manifestation takes place.
Feed your spirit man
Go around doing good and healing those who are oppressed
